My brother tried to teach me how to juggle when we were kids. I was so jealous when he seemed to pick up the skill so easily and I continued to struggle. I ultimately gave up on my ambition, but even my brother's talents couldn't hold a candle to the amazing gentlemen in the video below.
I can only imagine how bruised I would be if I attempted a juggling routine as intense as this one. After walking into an abandoned warehouse, the all-black-clad young men start tossing the clubs around between each other as if it were the easiest thing on Earth. When the music starts, that's when they kick it up another notch. Moving around each other and even adding in some tumbling moves, all while keeping the clubs high in the air, it's impossible to tear your eyes away!
The performers, Vlad Gapanovich, Maxim Golovchenko, and Evgeniy Pahalovich, are part of an alternative-circus, or "post-circus," group known as [Raw Art]. Abandoning the traditional flashy outfits and campy choreography, the Ukrainian organization focuses on the true creative process. Each individual has been highly trained in their trade, as is made obvious by this trio. Where the circus acts of the old days relied on the tricks themselves to wow the crowd, they are just one piece of the puzzle for these intricate routines.
I was in awe when they kept the clubs in sync while simply walking around the large area, but just a few minutes later, they began doing the same while actually walking all over each other!
