He Throws A Stapler Into An MRI Machine And Proves Exactly Why You Shouldn’t Wear Jewelry

For anyone who has ever had to get an MRI scan done, it's a well-known fact that you're not supposed to wear any jewelry and you need to make sure there is nothing metallic on or near your body.

While we've all heard the warnings before, it always seemed a bit of an overblown worry. One of those rare situations where if you did have something metal, it might move a bit, but nothing too scary or crazy. It always seemed like the hospitals were just covering all of their bases just to ensure they had no chance of getting sued in case something went wrong.

It turns out, if you wear metal in an MRI machine not only will it move around a bit, it will actually fly around and bounce all about the machine with your body right inside of it! And if you have any piercings still inside of you, you can easily believe that those will go flying away from your body as quickly as possible!

The video below shows a group of future doctors testing out just how potentially dangerous one of these tools can be. The machine itself is being decommissioned and sold for parts, but not before they got the chance to see just how powerful this technology truly is!

So please remember this video and triple-check next time you or someone you know has to get a scan done! This could cause quite a bit of trouble!
