They just don't make them like they used to!
I'm a pretty big fan of all kinds of music, but when it comes to the classics, nothing else can compare. However, as times change, musicians tend to look towards the past for inspiration — luckily for us that can lead to some pretty awesome things. Growing up, I was a big fan of the man who didn't just define a generation, but really changed the game for everyone: Mr. Frank Sinatra.
There will never be another performer like Ol' Blue Eyes, but if any artist today can compare, it always comes back to one of our favorites at LittleThings, Michael Bublé. The crooner takes us back to the Rat Pack days every time he steps on stage…and as you can see in this video, he always has some fun in the process. So what happens when Bublé sings a Sinatra classic? Now you're in for a treat.
People tend to complain about bad flying experiences today, but back when Sinatra came out with "Come Fly With Me" in 1957, the golden age of flying was a booze- and smoke-filled party in the air. That's one of the reasons I absolutely love this song. It takes us back to such a special time in history when things were just so classy and you could say, a lot simpler.
There's no arguing that no one can perform this song quite like Sinatra did, but I think you'll agree that this awesome cover is just as great.
