Hearing that an animal is now living on a farm brings to mind a serene, lush, and tranquil place filled with sunshine, red barns, and cornfields. Sadly in many parts of the world that is just not the case; take for example the thousands of foxes and minks living on fur farms. There are no green pastures, no snaking wildflowers zig-zagging through the plains. Its a prison where animals are raised in tiny cages, crammed together, existing for one thing and one thing only: their fur.
Thanks to crowd sourcing, this monk was saved after countless people donated money to pull him from a farm and a horrible fate. He is now living comfortable and happy in a loving home and experiencing all the joys minks should including one very special thing: water.
The American mink for example are common inhabitants around streams, rivers, lakes, marshes and coastlines and water is essential to their well-being. So you can imagine this mink's delight when he finally able to experience water for the first time. Watch as he rolls, swims, flips, and jumps around in this homemade pool. This has to be the happiest he has ever been and it's an amazing sight to see!
