Military Parents Surprise Their 4 Children With Disney Theme Reunion

After spending nine months of deployment in Kuwait, Queshawnia and Joseph Franklin wanted to surprise their four kids in a special way when they returned home.

The Savannah, GA natives decided to bring Disney World to their children by dressing up as Mickey and Minnie Mouse and unveiling themselves at the local family fun center, Jumping Jacks.

The surprise, which took weeks to plan, gave both parents the jitters.

"I was definitely nervous," Mr. Franklin said. "I was more nervous doing this than actually going back to Iraq."

While Military homecomings like these have been caught on camera countless times, the children's reactions at the :33 mark are truly incomparable. (Make sure to pay close attention to the son in the red shirt!) And when asked, the children said they had no idea their parents would return home that day, but their excitement is hard to conceal.

"It blew my mind," their son Jeremiah said.

Mrs. Franklin seemed just as excited as her kids to be back, saying, "Finally we're home, you can embrace the kids. It's been nine long months. Just happy to be back."

The Franklins were also elated when they received a surprise of their own from Jumping Jacks at the 1:30 mark.
