Miracles happen every day.
I've always been a believer in miracles. They can come in all shapes in sizes. There are miracle stories about animals, like the pregnant horse who was spared from slaughter and gave birth to a beautiful baby. There are other stories about miraculous rescues, like the woman who was saved from drowning in her sinking car by a complete stranger.
Nothing reinforces my strong belief in the power of these stories more than when someone's life is put in danger and then they are somehow miraculously saved or spared. So when I saw the photos of what happened to this woman, I knew that something absolutely magical had occurred.
Thirty-six-year-old Karen Brown was innocently driving her car when a giant truck appeared out of nowhere and struck her vehicle. The driver of the truck had run a red light, resulting in a truly horrific wreck.
When I heard Karen's story and saw these shocking photos, I knew that Karen had certainly experienced a true miracle!

When Karen's car was hit by the massive truck as she was making a left turn, the result was so devastating that her car appeared a crumpled wreck.
Witnesses to the accident naturally assumed that there would not be any survivors in Karen's car. The remains of the car were wedged underneath the large truck, giving rescue workers very little hope.
But by some miracle, a tiny pocket of space had been created during the crash, and Karen was able to survive with only a minor cut on her finger! Emergency workers spent two hours to remove Karen from the car. She later told others that she believed that Jesus had been holding her throughout the harrowing ordeal.
Karen's miraculous story and photos were shared on Facebook, prompting nearly 1,000 comments praising God for keeping her safe. The IJReview reports that Karen said of the experience, "My God was good to me." A true miracle indeed!
