This video is both heartbreaking and inspiring. The small child in this photo, Erin Potter, has had a hard start to her life. When she was just three years old, she was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Potter was getting ready for yet another bone marrow transplant and was just attempting to enjoy her day, but when this photo was taken, the now nine-year-old Erin had just learned that the Leukemia had returned to her for a third time. The news meant that she was about to face more operations, more chemotherapy, and more praying for a cure.
When her parents finally looked at the photo, they were instantly taken aback by what they saw hovering over their child: a tall, blurred figure.
Erin's mother, Jen, immediately knew it was the virgin Mary.
Erin's father, Kevin, said "I didn't necessarily see it as a sign that Erin is fine and gonna make it… What I took it as a sign of — 'we're watching over her.' "
When you look at this photo, you can definitely make out a face, or a robe. Whatever you can see it or not, as of right now, little Erin is cancer free. Let's all pray that she can stay that way!
