Cats are notoriously mischievous. They're always getting into things they shouldn't be, knocking things off tables, and just generally being an adorable little nuisance.
They can also be ridiculously clever and seem to have a knack for doing things that annoy their owners.
Most cats are quite intelligent, and they can read human emotions. They love to mess with their people and do things that bother them. It seems to cause them great joy just to see their owners get frustrated and flustered by their behaviors.
Recently, a cute cat named Misha started getting into her owner's pantry. She started moving and hiding kitchen items, and her owner wasn't exactly amused.
When Misha's owner's boyfriend made a joke about it, his girlfriend decided to catch Misha in action next time — and document the whole thing with photos.
Take a look at the hysterical pictures of Misha stealing straws below!
[H/T: Love What Matters]

Brett, Misha's owner's boyfriend, shared the story on the Facebook page, Love What Matters, where it quickly got a lot of attention.
Within three days, the post had 268 shares and over 4,700 reactions.

Brett wrote:
I didn’t believe my girlfriend when she blamed missing kitchen objects on her cat so the next time it happened she was ready.
I unpleasantly discovered a straw sticking in my side while sleeping next to my girlfriend who is a generally neat person.

Naturally I teased (accused) her the next morning about being a secret bird person; building a nest in her bed. She insisted it was her cat Misha and I told her that blaming it on the cat is exactly what a secret bird person would do.
Sure enough the next day I got that whole string of pictures and the whole bird conspiracy was put to rest.

It's obvious from the pictures that Misha's owner had nothing to do with the straw in the bed.
Misha helped herself to the entire bag of straws in the kitchen and ran off with them to the bedroom.

Misha must have noticed her owner laughing and taking photos, but she doesn't seem to care.
Any cat owner will know exactly how it feels to watch your feline's destructive behaviors and not be able to do anything but laugh.

Tons of people commented on the series of photos with their own hysterical cat stories.
One woman wrote, "My pretty girl likes to smuggle unopened tampons out of my bag and bathroom cupboards and then leaves them all over the house!"

Another woman wrote, "My cat, Chipper, used to confiscate my hair ties from the bathroom and would take them and drop them in his water bowl, almost daily. I don't know how many I went through!"

And then there was this response, which is probably the cutest of all:
I layered a quilt on the floor to pin baste using long glass head pins. I took breaks to cook supper, put kids to bed, etc., and was puzzled at my lack of progress each time I returned. I knew I had completed larger areas.
I pretended to leave the room and discovered my cat "helping" me by pulling the pins out by mouth and carrying them over to my pin box to put each one neatly away.

Lots of people even included photos of their cats doing sneaky things, like stealing dog treats right out of the container.
Cats definitely have funny senses of humor, don't you think?
