Search Intensifies For 20-Year-Old Missing Princeton Student As University Asks For Help

The search has intensified for a Princeton student reported missing on Monday. Misrach Ewunetie, 20, is an undergraduate at the Ivy League university.

According to a tweet posted by the school on Monday, Ewunetie is a junior at the institution and was last seen around residential building Scully Hall at about 3 a.m. Friday.

"She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and light brown complexion," school officials added on Twitter.

According to the school's student newspaper, the dean of New College West, Anne Caswell-Klein, said the student “has not been in touch with her family or friends in several days” in an email to members of the residential college.

Caswell-Klein noted in an initial email to the residential college that Scully Hall is where Ewunetie lives, according to The Daily Princetonian.

The school sent out a second alert on Tuesday, stating, "The Department of Public Safety continues working to locate missing undergraduate student Misrach Ewunetie."

The institution is pleading with the Princeton community for help in locating her.

Ewunetie is a part of the class of 2024 at the New Jersey school.

"Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Department of Public Safety at (609) 258-1000," the university said in a tweet.
