Hearing your doctor diagnose you with a form of cancer is never an easy thing for someone to process, especially when it isn't for the first time.
Along with all the often debilitating treatments some people are forced to endure in order to fight the cruel conditions, the support of their loved ones is absolutely essential in order to survive.
When her mom was first given the heartbreaking news of breast cancer, Victoria wasn't quite old enough to understand just how heavy the blow was for her. With a recent relapse, however, the 21-year-old made sure her mom knew she'd be with her every step of the way throughout the difficult battle.
Like many others do for their friends and family who are suffering from hair loss during chemotherapy, Victoria was happy to shave her head to match her mom — but she didn't stop there.
The clearly close pair now also sports matching tattoos! Though the adorable pink ribbons are now hidden by the locks that have grown back following the successful treatment, the mother and daughter know they're always there tying them together.
It's such a beautiful tribute to their amazing bond. Thank goodness Veronica was able to overcome the nasty disease for a second time! As she says in the video below, she knows that there's nothing life can throw at her that she and her daughter can't get through by each other's side.
