Mom Loses 240 Lbs In 17 Months After Committing To 10 Minutes Of Physical Activity A Day

Meghan See from Virginia said food had always been a major part of her life. She says she developed an eating addiction at a very early age.

In elementary school, Meghan weighed over 200 pounds. By high school, she weighed over 300 pounds.

Like so many people, Meghan's weight yo-yoed on multiple occasions. She'd lose 100 pounds, only to gain it back because she never got down to the root of her emotional issues.

As she grew into an adult, Meghan's mobility decreased, and her painful arthritis symptoms worsened. The simple act of getting out of bed became impossible. Even putting on her shoes was difficult.

Meghan hit her lowest when she realized she had stopped enjoying her life — but she was now a mother and knew she had to keep surviving for the sake of her daughter.

In 2017, Meghan was at her heaviest weight of 420 pounds. One day, after an uncomfortable train ride with her family where she couldn't fit into the seat, she decided to make some permanent changes.

She started small, with one little change at a time. "I made a promise to myself when I started that I was going to do 10 minutes of physical activity every day no matter what," she told Barcroft TV.
