Sick Mom Warns Daughter About Speeding In Her Car — Then She Hands Her A Bright Red Bow

It's funny how certain surprises work out. The person being surprised could have absolutely no idea what's about to happen and yet, they might drop a hint that actually makes the surprise all the more worthwhile.

Back in 2015, in Lyon Mountain, NY, a daughter traveled three hours with her boyfriend to her mom's house for a big surprise. He filmed it all with a hidden camera.

As they approach in the video below, he sets the scene for what is about to happen.

According to him, his girlfriend's mom has been without a car for six years, and hasn't been able to travel much since.

In fact, due to an extensive medical issue, her mom hasn't worked in over 20 years.

When they arrive, the daughter gives her mom a big hug, and when her boyfriend follows suit, Mom says, "You drive fast!" That leads her to discuss the dangers of speeding in her area.

"You can get up to a $45 to $250 fine!" she says.

"Well, I guess you're going to have to drive slow then," her daughter says, handing her mom a red bow.

Instantly confused, Mom holds the bow and asks, "What?"

Attached to the bow are car keys.

The car that her daughter and boyfriend arrived in is also the new car she has purchased for her mom.

"Oh! I'm speechless for once! You're kidding me!"

Mom embraces her daughter, and can't hold her tears back.
