Ned Sullivan was in a horrible accident in 2005. The doctors told his mother that he'd never move or talk ever again, but she didn't want to believe that.
Five years later, when this video was made, Ned proved everyone wrong with the help of a very unexpected aide: A monkey named Kasey.
The video you're about to watch is going to reinforce every monkey lover's thought that monkeys are the most human and most amazing animals in the world. When I was a kid, I loved monkeys because they were cute, like that cuddly one that would only sleep with his stuffed animal, and, of course, I was jealous of them swinging from the vines. Now, I love monkeys for their intelligence and human-like disposition.
I remember the monkey who made friends with anyone — cats, dogs, and humans. Monkeys show no prejudice, and Kasey the helper is no different. This little monkey is a huge help, I cannot imagine how grateful that this family is for such a sweet surprising primate to come into their lives. More importantly, for her to change their son Ned's life.
The way that Ned talks about Kasey is truly heartwarming, and when you see her in action you can't help but fall in love with this story.
