Humans aren't the only ones who can have some fun in the sun. With temperatures rising is Alaska, one Eagle River resident Candice Helm noticed a mother moose with her two calves baking in the hot sun.
With the temperatures reaching record highs in Alaska recently, Helm decided to turn on her sprinklers to help the moose cool off on the hot Sunday afternoon.
When she returned minutes later and looked out the window, she discovered the calves cooling off. She grabbed her camera just in time to capture the amazing moment.
"They just strolled around the house and looked really hot," Helm told local news station KTUU-TV. "So we turned on the sprinklers, and they were happy."
Animals can surprise us every day and find creative ways to cool down — like this Jack Russell who can surf or these dogs who love the swimming pool.
In the video below, the moose leap through the sprinkler and look like they're having the best day ever. The mama kept a watchful eye on her two calves, as the pranced around the yard and played.
Helm, who had just moved to Alaska from Arkansas eight weeks ago, said she had never seen a baby moose before. She was treated to a sweet scene that she likely won't forget anytime soon.
