At the push of a button, magic happens in this man's backyard. Although it looks like the grass is perfectly groomed and manicured to perfection, a secret hides underneath.
In 2013, engineer Gil Klar wanted a pool, while his wife wanted a yard. The result? A hidden swimming pool that features a retractable top that's covered with synthetic grass. Now that's one awesome way to have the best of both worlds!
In the video, he shows the finished product. The astroturf deck looks like a lawn but, at the click of a button, slides back to reveal an in-ground swimming pool hidden underneath. How cool is that?! Of course, there are a few other hidden pools we're completely envious of, like the outdoor patio that transforms into a pool and back again — in mere minutes!
