Remember the time an elephant charged Arnold Schwarzenegger's car while he was on safari? Luckily the big guy was just curious in that situation! But that isn't alway the case, especially if there is a young elephant around, or the rest of the family.
YouTube user Jasoprakas Debdas captured the moment when a mother elephant protected her family. The mother can be seen chasing off a man on a bicycle, who is watching her. Once he's realized it's in his best interest to stay away, she then blocks the road. In the background, you can see officers watching as the mother elephant waits for her family.
The herd quickly emerges from the right side, having hidden in the bushes there, and she ushers them across the street.
