Who doesn't love a good freebie?
I don't know about you, but I'm definitely a sucker when it comes to a promotion, but as they say, everything in life comes with some kind of price.
Sometimes the best way to get a large group of people's attention is by catching them off guard and tricking them into something. That's exactly how the people behind "The Water Project Foundation" got movie theater patrons to take part in the following video, in hopes of shedding some light on the serious issue of people around the globe, like this little girl, who don't have clean drinking water.
Knowing that people rarely turn down a free bottle of water, they handed them out to everyone in the theater. After a few seconds, you can see that people start to seriously struggle to open the cap and think they're going crazy. Just like when Volkswagen was able to scare this group of moviegoers out of texting and driving, The Water Project Foundation then flashes the following video on the theater screen out of nowhere. "If you think it's frustrating to make a little effort to drink water," the message reads. "Just imagine how these kids feel."
