The film industry has changed a lot over the years, but the joy of going to the movies remains the same as it was so long ago. Going to see a good film is a great way to forget about the outside world if only for a couple of hours and bond with friends over the excitement of a good story. If you're a lover of cinema, there's good news on the horizon: 2016 is looking to be one exciting year for Hollywood. Whether you like superheroes, books, or video games, there's guaranteed to be something awesome coming to the big screen this year.
With all the advancements that have been made in technology, going to the movies is a completely different experience than it was just a few years ago. While Disney animators were once resigned to using this crafty trick to make their films, directors today have access to top-of-the-line CGI and 3D animation, making action and fantasy movies wildly popular. And of course, sequels have also been flooding the box office in recent times. Just this past year, we saw The Force Awakens break records 38 years after the first Star Wars movie was released… and the original cast looked just as good as they did in these fun behind-the-scenes photos from the first film!
Whether you can't go a week without hitting up the movie theater, or you just go once a year, check out the films coming out in 2016 that already have everyone talking. For me, number 10 can't come soon enough! Which movie are you most excited to see?
