Good neighbors stick up for one another and reach out when they see someone in need. For and elderly man known as "Mr. Frank" by his community, support meant more than anything in the world.
Sometimes, we get lazy and don't take down our Christmas decorations until we hit mid-January. Mr. Frank left up his Christmas lights for a little bit longer than that. His Christmas decorations were still up in March, something quite harmless when you really think about it.
However, one or a few of his neighbors thought otherwise.
Mr. Frank received a hostile letter demanding that he take down his Christmas lights and clean up his yard. The anonymous neighbor even went as far as to suggest he move out of his home so a new house could be built in its place and increase property value. Mr. Frank was shocked and at a loss. He showed one of his fellow neighbors, Kris Griffin, who was appalled.
In the video below, posted on March 3, 2017, Kris explains, "I read the letter and it was extremely rude and disrespectful, and I got very upset about it. The fact that somebody was telling him that he had to take them down and telling him that he should move his flowers and that he should consider moving and all that, we just thought was incredibly rude and basically amounted to bullying."
Kris decided to spread the word around the neighborhood and urged everyone to put up their Christmas lights and other decorations to support Mr. Frank and to admonish his anonymous bully.
