She’s The Oldest Person At The Retirement Home—And She’s NOT A Resident!

At 93, Jan Weaver proves that age is just a number, and you're only as old as you feel. The spunky lady may be the the oldest person at the room at Spring Hills Hunters Creek assisted-living center, but she's okay with that. She's actually not even a resident. Instead, she volunteers to entertain the elderly residents, playing the piano and singing on the first Sunday of every month.

Weaver arrives wearing a white dress, along with a purple sash that says "Ms. Senior America" and a silver crown. She recalls the day she won that tiara at entering a senior citizen pageant in Atlantic City — at age 65. She claims it was her philosophy on life that helped her win the crown and eventually led to her piano career at the retirement home.

Her priceless wisdom? "If you have faith in God, it's true that all good things will come to you," she recalled.
