Wife Asks For Portrait Of Late Husband, But Sees Photo Company Changed Picture Before Funeral

After a church driver named Murray Barrett lost his life in an accident, his wife Dianne and daughter Jenn never expected a miracle to come their way.

The Barretts were preparing for the funeral of the community mentor and Marine, but were having trouble finding a solo picture of him.

In the video below, posted on April 7, 2017, Jenn explains, "He was always the one behind the camera and if he is in the picture, there's almost always someone with him."

Just when she and her mom thought they'd never find anything worthy of being Murray's funeral portrait, Jenn found a proof from two years ago for a church-directory photo shoot.

Jenn and Dianne contacted a photo company called Lifetouch, and they searched through all of their records to find not only Murray's photo, but the photos of the other bus crash victims as well.

While looking at Murray's funeral portrait, Jenn reveals, "This photo was never taken."

In fact, Lifetouch is responsible for the edited image. They heard of the Barrett family's woes and used Photoshop to crop out a second person from the photo. Murray's original photo includes one of his young mentees who saw Murray as a father figure.

By doing this, the photo company gave Dianne and Jenn a sweet, lasting memory of their beloved Murray before he was laid to rest.
