After putting in years of hard work, everyone deserves to have a little fun while celebrating their college graduation. Cramming your brain full of countless facts and churning out more papers and essays than you ever thought humanly possible can lead to some long, stressful nights, but it's all worth it when you put that cap on your head.
When New Jersey native Nate Pacius prepared for his girlfriend's graduation festivities, he wanted to make it extra special for her. Jasmine Baker's friends and family all arrived to congratulate her on her new degree, each of them dressed in white for the joyful occasion, but she had no idea Pacius was hiding something sparkly in his pocket as they played a round of musical chairs. The silly kid's game had narrowed down to just the two of them battling it out for the last chair, and while they both seemed to be pretty competitive while listening to Beyoncé's "Love On Top," Pacius was more than happy to let his lady take the seat.
At first, he looks upset to have lost and his friends crack jokes at his expense, but they all change their tune when he presents the small jewelry box. Everyone immediately pulls out their phones to record the touching moment as the couple both struggle to keep their emotions contained. Baker places a hand over her mouth in total shock when Pacius begins explaining just how it was difficult to plan the surprise "because you're so nosy."
Take a look below to hear him go on to say how much he cares for her and to see Baker's response.
