Neighbors Believe That Mom Of ‘Missing’ Man Rudy Farias Knew Where He Was The Entire Time

A missing person case in Texas reached a happy conclusion when a teen was found alive eight years later. Rudolph “Rudy” Farias IV disappeared on March 6, 2015, while walking the dogs. He was found on June 29, 2023, unconscious, outside of a church.

There might be more than meets the eye about this case. Kisha Ross and her family, neighbors of the Farias family, are reporting that Rudy might not have been missing all these years. They claim he was actually living with his mother.

Kisha spoke to KTRK about this. She expressed her surprise upon hearing reports he had been found as she never thought he was missing. “He used to come in my garage, chill with my cousin, son, and daughter,” she claimed.

Kisha lives on the same street as Rudy’s mom, Janie Santana. “That boy has never been missing,” she stated. She said he was independent and “would go to the park by himself” sometimes.

Broderick Conley is Kisha’s cousin. He claims he would often hang out with Rudy, who he knew as Dolph. The pair would have “laughing good times.”

Another neighbor also spoke to the outlet but wished to remain anonymous out of fear for his safety. He claims Rudy has been living with his mom for years. "I was just shocked someone over here was missing, and we see him," he stated. "It's shocking to everyone."

Janie has spoken to ABC13's Brooke Taylor about her neighbor’s allegations. She refused to go on camera. She said the person her neighbor’s are talking about is actually her nephew and shared a picture. Neighbors say this just is not true.

Kisha is trying to figure out why her neighbor would lie. "I do not know. That's what I have been trying to figure out all day," she admitted. "I am confused right now. I am like, 'What's going on?'"

When Rudy was found, The Texas Center for Missing Tweeted a statement on the behalf of his family. "We want to thank the media and public for all their support,” it began. “My son Rudy Farias IV was found on Thursday, June 29, after being missing for eight years. Currently, we do not have any additional information on Rudy's case.”

“What we do know is at the time of his recovery, a good Samaritan located him unresponsive and immediately called police and 911,” the statement continues. “My son Rudy is receiving the care he needs to overcome his trauma, but at this time, he is nonverbal and not able to communicate with us. We are asking for privacy during this difficult time but will share more details as Rudy continues to heal."
