The Powerball Ticket Line On The California And Nevada State Border Never Ends

Nevada is one of the six states in America where you cannot participate in the lottery, along with Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, and Utah. Over 50 years ago, Nevada state officials wrote it into the law that the state would remain a casino-style-gaming-only state. All these decades later, the law still stands, and even local schools and Elks clubs have to have their charitable lotteries approved by the gaming control board.

While so many Americans make the trip to Nevada to take their chances on slot machines and baccarat tables in casinos scattered all throughout Las Vegas, state residents are missing out on the hubbub that Powerball is arousing in the 44 states that do allow lotteries.

Nevada citizens weren't about to let this opportunity pass them up just because of some law written 50 years ago. In this video, a driver catches the front of the long line of potential winners that starts at the border between California and Nevada. As he keeps driving, you expect an end to come into sight… but just wait.

With last night's jackpot reaching over the $1.5 billion mark, Americans countrywide set their sights on a much richer lifestyle. While the chances of winning the grand prize were 1 in almost 300 million, citizens raced to their nearest gas stations and grocery stores to pick out their winning numbers — and for three lucky, yet-to-be-named winners (including one in California), that "you have to be in it to win it" mentality paid off.

…And just in case you haven't checked your tickets yet, the winning numbers were: 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 with a Powerball number of 10.

Would you have waited in this line if your state didn't sell Powerball tickets? Please SHARE to see what your friends and family think!

The line to buy Powerball tickets at the Nevada to California border line today is UNREAL!!!!
