For anyone who has every wondered why, in this day and age, we still don't have flying cars, robot maids, and every other vision of "the future" that The Jetsons has shown us, this video is definite proof that we are getting closer and closer to such living each and every day.
It may have taken a bit longer than some people expected, but there are all kinds of crazy advances in technology that, if seem to have came straight out of a sci-fi movie.
While most of these things are still extremely expensive, just like other brand new technology, the price will eventually go down. From self-driving and parking cars, to vacuums like the Roomba (like the one a cat in a shark costume rides through the kitchen), and even robots that look so lifelike you have to do a double-take, technology is getting more and more advanced.
With all of those awesome technological advances, it should come as no surprise that the one thing that everyone has been hoping for, is finally coming to life…the infamous hoverboard.
While there have been models and prototypes for years, the one in this video has just been crowned by the Guinness Book of World Records as making the "farthest journey," traveling over 900 feet all while hovering above water.
