Baby Koala’s Reaction To Seeing Its Mom For The First Time Is Almost Too Cute To Handle!

The Symbio Wildlife Park's new koala breeding sanctuary has delivered its first koala joey, and recent footage of the A baby koala discovering its mother for the first time has gone viral.

The adorable moment was captured on camera in Sydney, Australia, as the newborn joey cuddles with its mother. The baby looks up at mom and its reaction is precious. The tiny koala peaked out of his mother's pouch and looks up adoringly before burying its head and dozing off to sleep.

You can't help but instantly fall in love with this little bundle of joy! There's nothing stronger than the love between a mother and her children — take for instance this baby koala who hugged its mom through a successful surgery. The baby's mother responds in the most affectionate way, nuzzling it and giving it some sweet kisses.

Soon after the babies emerge from the pouch, the next milestone is when they start eating eucalyptus leaves.

The wildlife park is hoping the birth of this new koala will bring hope to saving the species. Koalas have been listed as a threatened species under the EPBC Act. The Australian Koala Foundation estimates that there are less than 100,000 Koalas left in the wild, possibly as few as 43,000.

If this sweet baby made you smile, please SHARE this with your friends.

Proud to announce the arrival of the newest baby to the Symbio Wildlife Park family. And its a girl 🙂
