"It is indescribable… it is the best feeling in the world," says brand new mom Laney as she holds her new baby girl.
Bailey Bomba is just one week old and already a witness to a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Most of us don't get to see our parents share this moment together. Little Bailey, though, is going to look back at this moment in awe of how big a part she played in it.
Giving birth is clearly an emotional moment; when this mom was surprised by her sister she couldn't help but cry tears of joy. Bailey's daddy and grandparents worked together to give her mommy a surprise perhaps even more emotional!
Grandma and grandpa distracted Laney, while dad got the surprise ready.
"I was confused for the longest," Laney said with a laugh. But it was daddy J.R. Bomba who was filled with laughter — nervous laughter.
Dad grabbed newborn Bailey as mom rested in the hospital bed. He dressed Bailey in a onesie with one special message written on it.
"When I was standing by the bed and I saw the onesie come on, I got nervous," J.R said, although he didn't let the nerves get the better of him. He handed over Bailey to her unsuspecting mommy.
When Laney saw the message she immediately burst into tears. Who wouldn't in such a special moment?
"It was a long time in the making. Just finally coming out and doing it," J.R. said.
