He Lost Limbs Serving Our Country, But His Triumph Earns Him A HUGE Surprise!

Noah Galloway lost two limbs serving our country, but what he's been able to accomplish since then is nothing short of incredible. This week, he was invited to be a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and shared his inspiring story.

Galloway, who lost parts of his left arm and left leg during an explosion in the Iraq War, faced years of depression following his accident. After deep soul-searching, he faced his physical and emotional obstacles head on — and has since participated in numerous marathons and 5k and 10k races.

Up next, he plans to participate in an Ironman Triathlon, which consists of a series of long-distance triathlon races consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bicycle ride and a marathon 26.2-mile run, raced in that order and without a break.

According to Galloway, he is determined to inspire others by demonstrating that challenges are meant to be conquered no matter how big they might be. Afterward, DeGeneres rewarded the army veteran's efforts by donating $10,000 from Shutterfly to his charity, the No Excuses Charitable Fund, which helps fight childhood obesity.

Watch his inspiring story, and please SHARE with everyone you know.
