Each year, hundreds of puppets, people, and tons of bands come together for the Vintage Halloween Parade in New York City.
The parade is open to anyone wearing a costume to participate in, and never fails to draw some absolutely incredible ensembles.
These stunning photos capture not only the magic of the parade and the wide array of visual delights, but the hard work and effort each participant put into their costume. Some people spent months in advance working on their costume!
