It's easy to get lost inside our own heads. We can get so wrapped up in what we are trying to do, it can lead us to being oblivious to some things, even when they're right in front of our nose. For example, this dad didn't believe his daughter when she told him she had bought him a motorcycle, even when they reveal the paperwork for it!
The oblivious man in the video below had to deal with a similar situation.
His wife is recording him as he is getting ready to go to the gym. He is seeking some Vitamin Water.
She leads him to the top of the inside of the fridge, but he just can't seem to find it.
"Baby, please help me. Am I stupid? Where?" he asks.
In his defense though, she is playing a trick on him.
There is no Vitamin Water in the firdge.
"It's right next to the almond milk!" she says.
She tries and tries to get him to see what is next to the almond milk, but he just can't get out of his own way.
"Why don't you take everything out?" she asks. When he does, she bursts out laughing at her husband's obliviousness, as he removes exactly what she wants him to see but is so wrapped up in the Vitamin Water he totally misses it.
Just wait until you see his reaction when it finally clicks: his wife sent him to the fridge to look for Vitamin Water, and this oblivious man misses his baby reveal!
