We're used to seeing professional singers perform the national anthem at sporting events. But sometimes it's even more memorable to watch people we probably wouldn't expect to sing the patriotic tune. I'm talking about people whom you wouldn't think had the pipes to leave the crowd in awe.
That includes talented people defying the odds, including a young girl who beautifully belts the song despite having cystic fibrosis. Additionally, it's also hard to forget the individuals in uniform who take a break from serving to show off their singing talent, like the Marine who left thousands speechless with his rendition.
Now meet another one of those men, Henry Guzman. The police sergeant with the South Miami Police Department has quite a set of vocal cords and isn't afraid to show it.
Below, we see him perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Miami's Marlin's Park opening game between Miami Marlins and the Detroit Tigers. And he doesn't miss a beat. I mean, just wait til the 1:40 mark when he starts hitting some lengthy notes.
"He's always making us proud!" the department wrote on its Facebook page along with a photo of Sgt. Guzman during his performance.
