This Camp’s INSANE Feature Has My Heart Pounding! OMG!

Thrill seekers are no strangers to the adrenaline rush of extreme sports and (for some of us) what seem like otherwise wild stunts.

But this crazy waterslide, the Slip N Fly, looks both terrifying and so much fun! The slide is a premiere fixture of the Ohio Dreams Action Sports Camp, which is a summer program for ages 7–17. There is only one weekend a year when this insane slide is available to the public, and that's at the site’s Sports and Music Fest during the last week of August.

So this is how the Slip N Fly works: you walk a steep flight of stairs to the top (much like other water slides), but then lay flat on your belly and are catapulted off of a sloping curvature at the end that flips you up and into a pool. You essentially become a projectile human cannonball, and it looks insanely fun! Even famous thrill seeker Tony Hawk makes an appearance on the slide.

This had me thinking about a few of the other bonkers waterslides we’ve seen in the past on LittleThings. Remember this Canadian slide with a 168-foot drop? Or the Verrückt slide in Kansas City, the tallest waterslide in the world?
