Sometimes parents lie to their kids but it’s for a good cause. Whether it’s to keep them from getting hurt or to surprise them, every parent has their motive.
One teenage girl’s mom definitely pulled the wool over her eyes when she told her that she didn’t get tickets to see her favorite band, One Direction. But that wasn’t exactly the truth.
In the video below, it's Christmas morning. Everyone is opening gifts when this teenage girl is given a Starbucks bag. She opens it, and inside is a Starbucks cup.
But that’s not the actual surprise.
Then she opens the lid and the entire cup is filled to the brim with pink and white M&M’s. She eats one and notices that each one has a tiny message on it.
She starts reading them, then she gives her mom a very confused look. To figure this puzzle out, she dumps the entire cup out on the box lid.
And once she does, she reads the hidden message.
It reads “VIP Party,” “You and Harry,” and “Photo of Harry.”
Once she puts two and two together, she absolutely can’t stop crying. And once her mom sees how happy her daughter is, she can’t help but cry too.
“But you told me you didn’t get tickets,” the daughter says tearfully.
Looks like this mom definitely pulled off a great surprise!
