Three Orphaned Bobcats Were Given A Second Chance, Thanks To An AMAZING New Mom!

Three newborn bobcats found in the woods Alabama were given a second chance thanks to an amazing adoptive mother. After a hunter had dropped off the two-week-old bobcat babies to a local vet, Big Cat Rescue in Tampa jumped at the chance to take in these bobcats, but they still needed a foster mother to step into provide warmth and care.

Luckily, a local cat shelter sent over Bobbi, a mama cat who had just given birth to six kittens weeks earlier. Although the staff was nervous about the initial meeting between Bobbi and the new bobcats, she was the perfect fit! As soon as she heard the faint, little cries from the newborns, her motherly instincts kicked right in and she began nursing them. How sweet!

The three wild kittens — Midnight, Rain and Storm — will be returned to the wild in about 18 months. Until then, adoptive mom Bobbi definitely has her paws full!
