Depending on who you ask, Owen Wilson is either one of the world's most beloved actors or one of the world's most annoying ones. His voice is one of the most distinctive out there thanks to its nasal quality and slight twang, and his accent is never more noticeable than when he says "wow."
For reasons unknown, someone decided to make a massive compilation of every time Wilson says "wow" in his movies. I thought it was a strange idea, but after watching it, I can't stop laughing!
Just like Tom Hanks' hilarious Carly Rae Jepsen lip sync performance, Owen Wilson's "wow" supercut is one of the most unexpectedly funny things I've seen in a while. Honestly, I don't even know why I'm laughing so hard, but the other commenters on the video seem to agree that his accent ("waayow") seems to have the magical effect of taking this clip from just plain strange to completely hilarious.
I guess you could do this with other celebrities to emphasize how much they say a certain word in their movies, but I have my doubts that they'd have the same effect that this video does. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch one of his films again without thinking of this video!
