What He Builds Out Of Trash And Some Tape? Unbelievable!!

The art of papier-mâché is centuries old, but it's still very popular today. Now — with all the latest techniques — Dan Reeder, an artist living in Seattle, has taken this hobby to a whole new level! For the last 40 years, he has been making detailed papier-mâché characters and, while his work is rather eccentric, it can be appreciated by all.

In his latest installment, Reeder uses only old newspaper and cloth to make a mythical dragon. The three-minute time-lapse video showcases his technique, which blends a structure of papier-mâché with a painted, cloth "skin." As the video continues, you can see the dragon slowly take shape, and it looks so lifelike. The results are amazing!

Reeder notes that it usually takes weeks to make one of these astonishing and breath-taking dragon sculptures. This video is a fascinating look at how realistic and amazing papier-mâché art truly is.
