Every parent has the right to run their own home as they see fit for their children.
Much like there are rules at work, there are rules at home. The children may not be happy about the law of the land, and there may not even be an explanation as to why the rules are set. Yet, rules are rules, and children must follow them.
I'm sure that if you're a parent, you've banned something in your day. Maybe it was a television show that you didn't see fit for your young children, or maybe it was a certain video game that seemed too violent to be taken so lightly. Maybe it was just a pet peeve of yours that you simply couldn't tolerate under your own roof.
No matter what it was, every parent has been there. The kids, on the other hand, don't always quite understand why something has been forbidden.
These 15 people remember the things that their parents banned from their childhood home. I've got to tell you, some of them are pretty darn funny!
