Surely you’ve dealt with the headache that is trying to squeeze a moderately sized vehicle into an impossibly tiny space, be it your garage, a parallel parking space, or some other equally disappointing vicinity. It’s a frustration like no other, trying to maneuver a giant hunk of metal in ways for which it wasn’t designed.
No longer, thought United Kingdom-based Park & Slide. They cleverly created a solution to this parking nightmare by crafting a platform to help you — get this — physically push your car to make room. You heard me correctly. You physically move the car with your own bare hands.
I couldn’t believe it myself when I watched the video for the first time. A man pulls into his garage and parks his car atop two raised platforms. He then exits the vehicle, moves to the other side, and merely pushes the thing over without exerting any excess energy. Another car pulls into the garage next to his, and what was previously a one-car space now fits two! No back and forth lurching for accommodation needed!
