You might think you've never heard of Parris Goebel, but chances are you've seen her work somewhere out there.
If you've seen Justin Beiber's music video for his new single "Sorry" for instance, you're probably already a huge fan! She's the one behind the "sassy woman fire" in the video that no one can get enough of. Her crew, the one in the music video, is called ReQuest, and she's also choreographer for the troupe called the Royal Family. What makes ReQuest special besides their sheer awesomeness? They were the World Varsity Hip Hop Champions in both 2009 and 2010, which makes them the first to win the gold two years in a row.
Not. Too. Shabby.
The video you're about to see came up on my Facebook feed, and I swear I could not stop watching it! It totally mesmerized me. Every tiny movement was clearly thought through with the utmost care. Even the facial expressions are choreographed! There's not one woman out of step, and the control that these dancers have over their bodies is truly incredible. I can hardly go through a day without tripping over my two feet! I have the utmost respect for anyone who can dance even half as well as the talented ladies of ReQuest.
This routine featuring both of Goebel's teams is sure to catch anyone's attention. Young, old, or young-at-heart, you're going to become a fan of this style, which Goebel's coined as "Polyswagg."
Swagg on, party people.
If you can't stop watching, or if you're surprised by how much you love this routine, please SHARE with your friends and family!
