Paul McCartney Has Fans Singing Along With This Incredible ‘Hey Jude’ Performance

One thing everyone learns within about the first hour of meeting me: I love the Beatles. While other teens at my high school were listening to the newest pop punk or country music, I was sitting in my best friend's living room watching Help for the millionth time and transporting ourselves back to the 1960s for at least an hour and a half.

Of course, you don't need a time machine to see former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney rock out onstage. Even as he turns 74 years old, the legendary songwriter continues to sell out massive stadiums with his classic hits and catchy new tunes. I remember seeing him just a few years ago, and even though I was way back in the bleachers, Macca was still able to make my heart go boom.

That show is one of my absolute favorite memories, especially when I think back on how he flubbed a bit behind his brightly colored piano as he began the sentimental ballad "Hey Jude." Though no one in the audience minded his minor error as he twinkled the keys and launched back into the emotional lyrics and melody, McCartney still took the time after the song was over to gush his gratitude for us cheering him on.

There are no mistakes in the rendition below, however, as he performs in front of thousands at Hyde Park in London. I've listened to the song about a million times, but it still stirs my soul to hear a crowd join in on those final rounds of "nah nah nah nah nah nah."
