I feel like my life has been riddled with tough decisions like what should I do for a living, who should I marry, and which is better, Oreos or peanut butter?
Although the latter is quite a conundrum, it doesn’t have to be anymore. I have found a fantastic recipe that allows you to have both of those tasty treats in one scrumptious dessert.
It’s called a Peanut Butter Oreo Brownie, and it's super easy to make and so delicious its like biting into a bit of heaven.
All you need to make this heavenly baked good is a mixing bowl, baking pan, an oven, and a few simple ingredients…
Ingredients:
- 18 oz. box brownie mix
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 (13.2-oz.) package of Mega Stuff Oreo Cookies
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips or Reese’s peanut butter chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 °F.
- In a large bowl mix brownie mix and 2 eggs.
- Mix until dough starts clumping together. Press into an 8×8-inch pan. Bake for 15–20 minutes (until edges start to firm and middle is still soft).
- Mix condensed milk and peanut butter in a bowl until smooth. It helps if peanut butter is warmed up slightly.
- Take brownies out of oven and spread peanut butter mixture over brownies.
- In a Ziplock back roughly crush Oreo cookies.
- Sprinkle evenly over peanut butter layer and lightly press down.
- Sprinkle chocolate or peanut butter chips over the Oreo layer.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes more until a toothpick inserted into center comes out moist but not gooey. Let cool for 5–10 minutes.
- Cut and serve.
