Thanks to YouTube, there is proof that iPads aren't just for humans. In fact, both cats and dogs go bonkers for their favorite iPad games. And now, new footage reveals that even penguins feel the same way!
In the video, a group of Magellanic penguins at California's Aquarium of the Pacific go crazy playing Game for Cats, an app designed to keep animals entertained. The penguins get really involved and competitive. Who knew penguins could be better at using an iPad than most adults? This is crazy!
Aviculturist Sara Mandel notes that the game keeps the penguins active and, since they first introduced the iPads, the adorable penguins have become quite the little gamers.
"I was pretty new to the position, so I decided, 'I wonder if they’ll play with this game?'" Mandel explains in the video. "And I put it down, and he just starting biting it and messing with it. And then [penguins] Newsom and Jeremy became obsessed with it. And that was actually the year that he [a nearby penguin] was born, so I must have done something right because we got Anderson and Heidi out of it."
