When She Met Him Online, She Had No Idea That He’d Save Her Life One Day…

Online dating can be a real mine field of disappointment. Dating in general can be, too, but when you're online, you're simply exposed to more of the same.

But, sometimes, connecting through the web can lead to some of the happiest relationships. Some of my very close friends have met their significant others, or even spouses, thorough various online dating platforms. It's not something to write off completely… just something to be proceeded with a grain of salt.

Michael Frias was on Match one day when he came across a profile of a certain green-eyed woman. She caught his attention immediately, and he knew that he had to get in contact with her.

After just a few dates with Natalie Russo, Michael felt that he had to be with her at all times, and Russo felt the same way. It seemed that the online algorithm had finally paid off for the two, and they were both so excited to forge a meaningful relationship with each other.

Then, after about a month of bliss, Russo went in for a routine doctor's appointment. She thought nothing of the blood work that her doctor ordered until she got a call with some devastating news. The numbers on her results showed extremely high toxicity in her body, and she had to go to the hospital immediately to begin dialysis. She was put on the waiting list for a new kidney immediately.

Frias stuck by her side and visited her often, but Russo had no idea what divine fate it was that he'd sent her that message a while back. You have to see this.
