Pete Davidson Allegedly Sends Antagonizing And Intimate Selfie To Kanye West In Escalation

The situation between Kanye West (who changed his name to Ye in late 2021), his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and Kim's new boyfriend Pete Davidson appears to have escalated dramatically. Over the weekend, Pete reportedly sent a series of pointed and even aggressive texts to Ye after the latter made a plea to see his children via social media.

The exchange was kicked off after Ye took to Instagram and explained that the couple's oldest child didn't join her siblings on a trip to see him.

Ye explained that the four kids were supposed to join him in Miami for an event, but for reasons that weren't divulged, their oldest didn't. Ye went on to add that he felt concerned that his child was being kept from him.

The videos were posted around 8 a.m. Los Angeles time, and it seems that waking up to news that Ye was sharing personal details on Instagram bothered Pete and/or Kim. As reported by People and numerous other outlets, Pete decided that it was time to take matters into his own hands.

In his video, Ye explained that he felt Kim is "antagonizing" him by still allowing their oldest to appear in TikTok videos. Ye has repeatedly pleaded publicly for Kim to stop letting their 8-year-old daughter appear on the social media platform, which requires users to be 13 years old to join.

Ye said, "I said, 'I am not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney.' I have a say," before adding that he doesn't believe 50/50 custody is being administered fairly in his relationship with his ex and their kids. "There's no such thing as 50/50 custody in society today. … It always leans towards the mom."

Ye also addressed the texts, saying, "The boyfriend text me, antagonizing me, bragging about being in bed with my wife. I thought publicly for a year and a half I’ve been dragged (about) how she’s not my wife. She doesn’t have my last name. Now, he’s texting me bragging about how he’s in bed with my wife and I’m like, ‘Well who’s watching my children if he’s texting me, bragging about being in bed with my wife?’"

Pete reportedly sent Ye a series of messages in response to his video. In one, he says, "I've decided I'm not going to let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet."

He also went on to tell Ye that he's asked Saturday Night Live to stop mocking the rapper each week.

He wrote, "You have no idea how nice I've been to you despite your actions towards me. I've had your back even though you treat me like [expletive] because I want everything to be smooth."

He then concluded, "But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months, I'm gonna stop being nice."

It's worth noting that the messages took place a day before the trailer for the new Kardashians reality series on Hulu was released. Kim has previously stated that Ye is included in at least one episode of the show.
