Mom Believes She Was Adopted As A Baby, Then Old Photo Of Mom Reveals Truth About Her Birth

Knowing who your biological mother and father are is important to many adopted children for a variety of reasons. Being aware of their parentage provides a way for them to connect to a past and a shared history. It's also a way to understand one's roots, and even the source of certain beliefs and mannerisms.

While many adopted people believe that their adoptive parents will always remain the people they consider to be their true mother and father, curiosity often drives them to search for those who sometimes don't necessarily want to be found.

One woman is embarking on a search for her own biological mother after accidentally finding out that she was adopted.

Silvina Martinez Pintos was browsing some old family photos online when she came across one of her mom. She was struck by one small detail: though the photo was dated to be a short time before she was born, her mother wasn't pregnant in it.

The woman in the picture is not pregnant, despite the fact that the photo was dated just before Silvina's birth.

She says that she always believed that she was adopted, but the fact wasn't confirmed until that moment.

Silvina is now embarking on a quest to find her birth mother. She's posted photos of herself on the internet, hoping that distinctive facial features will link her to the woman she's looking for.

All she knows about her birth is that she was born in a clinic at 11:30 in the morning to a 16-year-old. The doctor who attended the delivery was a man named Ricardo Carminatti.

Now, she's hoping that someone with more information will come forward after seeing these photos, including one with her adoptive father, and will bring her the peace of mind she needs.
