Though they are creatures to be feared, it turns out that wolves have a soft side! Many humans, some by training and others by luck, have great friendships with these beasts. One man felt the love of a pack of wolves while stunned onlookers admired them (though, he looked a little afraid himself). Better yet, one woman in Indiana dedicated her life to saving them — and they return her love with tons of kisses!
We would never advise anyone to seek out and try to pet a wild animal like a wolf, but when these encounters happen, it's hard not to marvel at them. This wildlife photographer perhaps got more than he bargained for when he sought out the animals, but we're slightly jealous that he's their new best friend!
The man stands in a grassy area near a river, and he's surrounded by a pack of five wolves — all very playful and excited. They jump around him, and as he moves away to get a better picture, they follow him. He lovingly pets them in return, without being too cautious. After all, the low growls you hear can seem a little ominous.
But not for this photographer! They jump on him and surround him in such a way that it seems like he's stuck under the pile of wolves all fighting for his affection. We may be a little afraid should this ever happen to us, but this man clearly loves the attention!
