They Bullied Pink For Wearing This Dress. But She Stood Up To Them With THIS Inspiring Response!

Pink recently lent her time to a charity event for cancer — but some people didn't focus on her philanthropy. Instead, they bashed her for her appearance.

The singer, who sported a long black gown to the John Wayne 2015 Odyssey Ball, took to Twitter to respond to the negative critiques. And, just like Kelly Clarkson and news anchor Jennifer Livingston, who both recently made news for their responses to media bullying, she let everyone know that she loves the skin she’s in.

“I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight,” Pink wrote. “While I admit that the dress didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful.”

She continued: “I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake.”

Pink also pointed out that the event was to honor Dr. Maggie DiNome, who received the Duke Award for her “stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer.” In other words, Pink's weight shouldn’t have been the focus of conversation.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone that Pink quickly shut down the negativity. The singer, whose real name is Alecia Moore, often empowers others with her fearlessness, her confidence, and, of course, her songs (like “F**kin' Perfect” and “So What”).

That same day, she also shared a Twitter photo with her husband Carey Hart, who loves her shape.

"and my hubby says 'it's just more to love baby' (and then I smack his hand off my booty cause we're in a supermarket)," Pink wrote as the caption.

Pink is also teaching her daughter, Willow, to take after her mother and love every bit of herself.

“Willow said to me the other day whilst grabbing my belly-‘mama-why r u so squishy?’ And I said..’b/cuz I’m happy baby.’ “

And, Pink is always inspiring other women. She retweeted this photo of a fan, who showed off her "squishy" body on Twitter.
