When you walk into a pizza restaurant, you probably expect the most exciting thing to be the number of toppings you can choose from. Personally, I'm a fan of combining the sweetness of pineapple with the spice of jalapeños. It's the perfect blend of zesty heat and soothing fruit! Of course, I also add hot sauce right on top, but that's just me. You might prefer more traditional pepperoni or taking it to a new level with some comfort food. Making it at home is a fun way to really get into new customized flavors, and the easy recipes are practically endless!
But treating yourself to some professionally crafted slices is always great, too. One man who knows exactly where to find a delicious pie? New York's resident pizza tour guide, Scott Wiener. Along with his team of helpful pizza experts, Scott's Pizza Tours fill up their busses with tourists and locals looking to learn more about the city's best pizzeria offerings.
At this stop in Brooklyn at Pizzeria Del Corso, the guests were treated to more than just a yummy, cheesy slice. While they waited for their orders to arrive, chef Ninio Coniglio showed off his award-winning dough acrobatics as he tosses the mound around like it's just a squishy frisbee. I've seen other restaurants perform similar skills, but none anywhere near as impressive as the way he makes this dough fly through the air. Throwing it over his shoulder, under his legs, and across his back, it's even better than getting a free appetizer!
