Traveling by plane is always a bit stressful. No matter how much I love going on vacation or visiting another city, I always grimace a bit when I remember I'll need to be stuck inside a flying metal tube for hours in order to reach my destination. That's not even mentioning the headache involved with coordinating all of the small details, like packing, checking luggage, making it through security, and reaching your flight on time!
I've had a few seriously stressful flying experiences, but nothing compares to the recent story of a woman whose marital problems led to the emergency landing of the flight she was on.
This strange tale took place aboard a flight headed to Bali, Indonesia. The woman on board was a wife on vacation with her family. But their trip was interrupted when she uncovered proof that her husband had been unfaithful to her.

The Times of India reported the unusual situation that led to the diversion and emergency landing of a recent Qatar Airways flight.
Reportedly, an unnamed woman was on a flight with her family (including her husband and young child) headed from Doha, Qatar, to Bali, Indonesia.
Sources said that the woman unlocked her sleeping husband's phone by putting his finger on the scanner.
It was then that she made the horrible discovery.
It's not known exactly what the woman found on her husband's phone.
But whatever it was must have been sufficient proof that he was being unfaithful.
While some women might become sad and forlorn after making this discovery, that wasn't exactly the case in this situation. Rather than getting teary-eyed, she got angry.
Very angry. Like, furious.
The woman got into a fight with her husband, loudly enough that the crew members were forced to intervene. Unfortunately, they weren't able to calm her down.
The Washington Post reported that some sources say the wife began to hit her sleeping husband.
Other publications reported shouting and other general "misbehavior."
Once it was clear that the woman wasn't settling down, the pilot made the decision to divert the plane to Chennai, India, and make an emergency landing.
Upon arrival, the family involved in the brouhaha was made to disembark.
The rest of the passengers remained aboard as the plane resumed its trip to Bali.
A Central Industrial Security Force official told the Times of India:
On November 5, at about 10 am, Qatar Airways flight QR-962 (Doha-Bali) was diverted to Chennai. A lady along with her husband and a child, all Iranian nationals, were offloaded by Qatar Airline as the lady passenger (who was intoxicated) misbehaved with crew members inflight. They were sent to Kuala Lumpur by Batik Air flight 6019 for further travel to Doha.
The Central Industrial Security Force also confirmed to CBS News that the wife's "unruly" behavior with her husband and the flight crew led to the family's removal from the plane.
While the Times of India and other publications quoted an anonymous official saying that the woman was intoxicated when she flipped out on the plane, CBS News' source told them that he could not confirm that detail.
