She Jumps Onto The Pole, But Who She Has Strapped On Her Back? Unbelievable.

Though it's been heavily stigmatized, pole dancing is a beautiful art that requires unbelievable amounts of strength, flexibility, and concentration. Ashley Wright is a talented dancer who says her art has allowed her to achieve what she describes as "freedom of my mind, freedom of my heart, freedom of my soul; Freedom to be unapologetically, unabashedly myself, to myself and to the world." In a breathtaking routine she performs to "The Circle of Life" from The Lion King, Ashley shares her passion with an unexpected dance partner: her baby daughter. I was skeptical and worried at first, but by the end, this woman's powerful performance took my breath away.

We've seen before how the art of pole dancing can be used to empower anyone who dares to try it. This woman used it as a powerful tool to show the world that her weight didn't inhibit her at all! For Ashley, this performance was much more than just a dance — it was a way to bond with her daughter through the magic of movement and music. I think what this woman is doing is a great way to show her daughter what your body and mind can do when they work together in such an amazing way. Who knows? In a few years, this little baby might turn out to dance as well as this ridiculously talented 8-year-old girl!

A few people have expressed concerns about the safety of Ashley's daughter in this video, and at first, I was concerned, too. But after watching it, it's clear that this proud mama is taking extra care to make sure that the dance is performed in pieces instead of all at once, and she's sure to not do anything that would put her baby at risk. Knowing how much babies like it when their mothers walk with them or rock them, I bet this little girl was having a blast spending some quality time with her mommy!
